So my hometown of Easthampton is having their first annual WinterFest. What is WinterFest you say? Here's a short description from their webpage:

"Come out of hibernation for the first annual Easthampton WinterFest which kicks off on Friday, February 7th with our Opening Ceremonies and continues through Saturday, February 8th at various indoor and outdoor locations throughout Easthampton.

In celebration of the winter season, the Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee and Easthampton City Arts+ collaborate to feature fun family activities and showcase Easthampton's cultural and natural resources. Events include wagon rides, an historic ice harvesting demonstration, historic movies (including The Story of Nashawannuck Pond, which premiers at our Kick Off event on Friday night. Try a little snowshoeing or wall climbing. Warm up with our chili cook-off and community bonfire, Fire and Ice Art Walk, performances, storytelling and more!"
